**NEW**Cheer Team Prep Class:
Tighten up your arms, clean up your skills and expand your tumbling! This class will have your game ready with a few new tricks to get the crowd involved!
*NEW**High School DANCE TEAM Prep class:
*Developed for the dancer who “made” it on a high school team or just wants to work on or keep up her skills over the summer. This class will be taught by Miss Makayla! She is currently a USM dancer with LOTS of experience! She will have you dancing like a rock star all summer! High school students ONLY!
**New Class**B.A.D. Class:
Boys Athletic Dance is a class that combines age appropriate Hip Hop, breakdancing, tumbling and strength/conditioning skills/exercises for boys. It is a fun way to work on athletic skills, and physical condition while having the fun of dancing. This class is taught by Mr. Nick, who has danced/tumbled since he was 3 years old. Last year, he earned the honor of First Team All American for NAIA and AP. Mr. Nick plays Safety for the Saint Mary Spires Football team. Come join the fun!
Does your child love to make noise, move their feet and tap out the beat? Students in this class will learn basic tap steps, progressions, and series of steps as well as terminology, rhythm and fun!
This is an excellent class for the dancer who loves to move to the beat. It’s a class for the active child who loves to dance!
This class is great for every aspiring ballerina and a dancer who loves to tumble too! An age appropriate combination of ballet, acrobatics and creative movement! Your little one will be twirling and tumbling for more each week!
It’s a popular class for our young aspiring cheerleaders! Students will learn cheers, chants, jumps, formations and builds that are age appropriate. They will also work on acrobatic/tumbling skills, pom pom styled dance routines as well as incorporate obstacle courses to help with strength, conditioning and flexibility. Exercise, enthusiasm and fun rolled into one!
A fabulous 90 minute class to learn this three disciplines that compliment each other. Students will build a foundation which includes jazz, tumbling, cheers, flexibility, A teamwork/cooperation, coordination, pom pom styled dances and how to project as a cheerleader. A popular and MUST do class for the active, energetic kiddo!
We encourage all students to take ballet, as it is the foundation for all styles of dance. All ballet classes are taught using traditional technique and innovative exercises and progressions to help each student reach their full potential. Students are taught in a progressive manner, stressing terminology, correct technique and placement.
Ballet: (Intermediate/Advanced Technique)
Serious about Ballet? This is the class for you! You will work on your placement, technique and enhance your training this summer in this intensive style class.
Pointe: Pointe is the specialized footwork, done in Pointe shoes. Build and enhance your skills in the small, personalized class. Students in this class MUST also be enrolled in the Technique class prior to pointe class.
Love to roll, flip and tumble! This class is for you! Each level has specific, progressive skills to learn and develop. Students work on stationary and traveling steps as well. (Boys and Girls)
Love to fly, flip and dive? Power tumbling class is for you! This is a great class to work on power tumbling skills, strength and conditioning. Students in this class must have some tumbling experience to be in this class. (Boys and Girls)
Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. Our classes use age appropriate music and moves. It’s a fast paced, fun, challenging style of dance that incorporates strength, rhythm and timing for an experience like no other. (BOYS and GIRLS)
This class is an exciting, challenging combination of ballet, modern and jazz. It’s great for the new dancer or an experienced dancer wanting to go beyond the basics.
