Team Opportunities

Competitive Cheer Team:

A NEW OPPORTUNITY for our CHEEERLEADERS!  Students wanting to compete as a cheer team will learn a routine that combines cheers, tumbling and dancing.  We will compete in the Midwest area.  Students will need to audition for the team.  Team uniform costs and competition costs will be given at the auditions.  Any student interested in auditioning please contact Miss Katie for more information.  (Offered Saturday 2:00-2:55)

Clogging Team:

This is a NEW Opportunity for our Cloggers.  Students have the option of competing in the Midwest region with other cloggers.  The members of the clogging team will compete in individual routines and could be selected to compete in a group number. The class time for clogging team will be determined once we know how many cloggers are interested.  The team uniform, competition fees and other information will be available once we have established our team.  If you are interested, please contact Miss Katie.

Dance Team:

A fun, exciting and busy team!  The students on DANCE TEAM perform at least 5 times throughout the year including but not limited to:  in October at Haunted Havens, December at Breakfast with Santa and the Lansing Mayor Christmas tree lighting ceremony, March or April at the Leavenworth Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt, A Chance to Dance benefit in St. Joseph in April, various nursing and retirement homes too.  It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to perform and share their love of dance with the community!  Students are generally ages 7 and up.  They must be enrolled in another dance class as well as the team class.  (Offered Wednesday 7:30)

Tumble Team:

A fabulous opportunity for any acrobat/tumbler that loves to compete or would like to try to competing!  Team members must enroll in an acrobatics class at our studio AND the team class.  During team class, each competitor will be assigned and learn a specific routine (based on NAC- National Acrobat Competition skill levels).  They have the chance at competing at 4 preliminary meets and if they qualify, the Championship meet.  NAC usually has around 400 competitors from the greater Kansas City area.  All competitors receive some type of award for their efforts.  Team members must purchase the team uniform which they will wear to competitions and recital ONLY.  A fun, amazing options for our students!  (Offered Tuesday 5:30)
