Dance & Spirit Teams: 

KDS has had a performing Dance Team for over 30 years!

Our Dance Team had performed for local festivals, parades, various Christmas events, charity events and at local nursing and assisted living facilities.  We have competed with Dance Masters of America, and other competitions.  Our dancer have ranged in age from 7 though 17.

In order to meet the needs of our students and growing studio, we are launching new teams that expand access for younger dancers as well as offering a Spirit Squad to compliment our dance teams.

Learn About Our Dance and Spirit Classes

Coming July 2026

Coming July 2026, we will be hosting a 7-week camp for each dance/spirit team to welcome members and prepare them for their first performance in August! The teams will meet every Wednesday, July 8-August 19 at their specific time.  Cost: $150 includes 7 weeks of instruction, choreography, Team T-shirt, Tiara or Bow.  

Princess Patrol (ages 4-5), Dazzle Dolls (ages 6-8), Shining Stars (ages 9 & Up) and our Spirit Squad (ages 6-12) will begin!  Each team member will build confidence, skills, friendship, team work, stage presence and sparkle as they prepare for the stage! 

We are so excited to see the amazing things these teams will accomplish this year! 

Summer teams are found in the class listings under: Summer Dance Team. 

Beginning September-May: All 4 teams will continue to meet, rehearse and prepare for additional performances in October, November, December, March, April and May (Recital) 

Team Class times, dates and fees for the school year TBA. 

During the School year (Sept.-May) All Dance Team members will be required to be enrolled in at least one dance class and their respective Team Class.  All Spirit Team members will be required to be enrolled in a Cheer class and their Team Class. 

Dance Team Uniform: TBA for Sept-May  Fees are generally $150 and include what they need except Jazz Shoes.
